Downloading games and other apps from sources outside Google Playstore will likely expose your device to malicious threats such as hacking, personal data mining, viruses and more.

I should know. They warned me about Adware they had detected on Bleach vs Naruto and Fairy Tail vs One Piece right after my first scan. I ignored it for the most part since i believe its the developers trying to make money with their ads.

Not to knock on AVG, but they didn't catch this during its own scans. That's my personal experience on it anyway.

If you already have a different Antivirus installed, there's a decent chance its mediocre and doesn't catch most viruses.
